ESAB Caddy TIG 1500i DC TA33 Tig Welder
The Esab CaddyTig 1500i is Esab's 5th generation of portable welding machines and has over 30 years experience in inverter technology.
The Esab Caddy Tig Has the large 35/50 Dinse Sockets. The case work is a combination of impact resisting polymer and durable aluminium. It is light and easy to carry but does not compromise the important cooling of the internal components. Large heat sinks and intelligent design result in a cooler running machine with a longer life expectancy when used in harsh working environments. The design also ensures all sensitive parts are kept free of dirt and dust. Built to IP23 standards it can even be used outdoors in the rain.
Caddy Tig machines have built in PFC circuit which makes it possible to use the full output of 150Amps on a 16A fuse. The PFC circuit also protects against fluctuating mains voltage and, therefore, makes them generator friendly.
The Caddy Tig 1500i comes with a TA33 Control Panel with all necessary functions for DC Tig welding with HF or Lift Arc and MMA welding. TA33 is the easy way to weld - set plate thickness and the machine control the rest. Welding current, slope down and post gas can also be controlled manually if required.
Caddy Tig features ArcPlus 11 for arc welding which gives a more intense, yet smooth, stable easy-to-control arc. ArcPlus 11 generates smaller droplets - the arc burns more smoothly and there is no need to pause at the edges when weaving.
